As an Associate Creative Director at BrandJuice, you’ll act as a creative visionary, helping to lead and be part of our team of insightful brand strategists and designers. The right person for this role is passionate, empathetic, upbeat and a true team player.


Qualified applicants must have 8+ years of experience in a creative or marketing agency environment.

  • Creative design portfolio demonstrates a breadth of originality, innovation, integrated marketing and strategic rationale
  • Experience building successful creative teams, nurturing creative talent and integrating with strategists
  • Willingness to not only direct the work, but to also do the work
  • Possess extensive expertise creating and working with corporate style guides and brand systems
  • Experience in creative concept pitching, development and activation with cross-functional team leadership
  • Experience defining and managing budgetary constraints; resourcing and managing photographers, directors and vendors
  • Excellent project management skills, communication skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable providing creative direction and recommendations directly to C-suite clients, partners and team members; able to always present a strategic point of view for creative project-related questions
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Apps, Dropbox, Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Slack, Asana)

Key Accountabilities

The Associate Creative Director leads the agency’s creative processes and projects, providing vital team leadership to ensure exceptional engagement experiences and client satisfaction.

  • Direct design projects for BrandJuice and its clients, including but not limited to: visual identity, branded system development, pitches and client presentations, marketing collateral and business tools, packaging design, advertising campaigns, photo and video shoots (including directing and managing all stages of production), usage guidelines, digital display, etc.
  • Develop and articulate strategically sound and inspiring creative briefs
  • Lead the concept ideation, development and presentation of strategic and creative solutions for agency, client and prospect projects
  • Ensure all creative is rooted in consumer and market insights, category trends and the defined brand strategy while adhering to design guidelines
  • Collaborate and co-lead agency and client workshops for brand strategy, business innovation, creative campaigns, etc.
  • Take initiative to proactively provide new ideas to push forward creative solutions to continuously develop the client relationship
  • Mentor, train and manage direct reports, contractors (art directors, copywriters, designers, etc.) and production vendors
  • Manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines and maintain quality control for internal and external deliverables with extreme attention to detail
