In a quickly growing industry saturated with pot leaves and pun, BlueKudu needed to stand out from the competition in order to up its prices. Our approach was to move beyond just premium taste and quality by connecting each flavor with an emotionally-inspired location and mood. Grounded in the overall brand strategy and new tagline “Unwind Anytime,” we developed a new logo, repositioned the product line with a standout, location-based naming structure, and designed innovative packaging with a user-friendly form factor. At shelf, the new brand shattered industry norms and more than doubled its sales within the first year.
