Packaging design with a wellness mindset

The Challenge

Private investors had a big idea and an expert formulation, but needed strategic guidance on how to break through the clutter of the crowded CBD space with a premium skincare and wellness product artfully crafted and designed to appeal to the masses.

The Outcome

Consumer research informed product innovation, which led to brand visual identity, packaging design and website development that shattered industry norms, bringing prestige and smarts to a space severely lacking it.

Wellness and beauty products today are often formulated with ingredients that hinder the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Mox Mind + Body Care believed things should be different, and so a brand was built upon the notion that the body is a powerful system that can be healed from the inside out through the use of “power couples” — combining premium CBD with efficacious, natural ingredients that work with the body, not against it. By leveraging the powers of CBD, the body’s ability to heal itself and the strength of natural ingredients to dramatically improve the wellbeing of both the mind and body, we helped the brand introduce the meaning of  The Mox Difference.  Mox’s mission drove the direction for a distribution strategy that targeted mass and specialty retailers in order to meet its audience where they are most comfortable and successfully launched in the fall of 2018.
