Around the BrandJuice office, we’re all pretty big fans of the FitBit, and getting in as much activity as we can throughout the day (walking meetings will change your life). However, the utilitarian style of your basic FitBit isn’t always a big sell for the ladies, who often seek out more feminine accessories to compliment a look. Now thanks to Tory Burch, you can have your FitBit and your arm candy too.
The new collaboration between Tory Burch and FitBit brings four new products to the market: two familiar silicone wristbands with a white Tory print and a much more fashionable gold clasp, as well as one new necklace holder and a metal hinged bracelet – all essentially housing the FitBit’s core. Both the hinged bracelet and the necklace are made out of beautiful brass with an open framework design that Tory Burch is known for.
The collection is touching on a key issue that many have with wearables, a lack of personalization and style. “The fusion of fashion and technology is important to the widespread adoption of wearable technologies,” explains Melanie Chase, Fitbit’s product marketing manager. “We believe users are looking for more ways to wear their tracker to match their everyday style, mood and activities.”
This Tory Burch wearable is much more than just a tracker. Fit, fashionable, fabulous.
